Abstract painting with a highly textured surface.

I am interested in rock formations and geology and this painting is inspired by the lichen growth and beautiful colours found on rocks on the beach.

It was created using a variety of processes: applying layers of paint and removing areas until I am happy with the result.

The painting was created on canvas paper mounted on board.
